The mission of the Life-Giving Water Fund is to improve the lives of children and their families in Zambia by providing reliable sources of clean drinking water.  Each of our permanent wells dramatically enhances the lives of thousands of people: improving their health; the quality of their daily lives; their ability to raise livestock and crops; and their ability to educate their children!

Thanks to your generous support of our work, we have been able to provide deep wells that produce fresh water for over 50,000 people.  This year we will add new wells that will improve the health and well-being of over 10,000 additional people!

The Life-Giving Water Fund pro-vides deep wells for rural villages in Zambia. The people living in these villages desperately need local, reliable, sources of fresh water.  Millions of people in Zambia don't have access to clean water.  Women and children travel miles each morning to carry water from shallow pits or impure streams to provide water to satisfy their daily needs.  During the frequent droughts these sources are non-existent.  

Carrying heavy water vessels is an exhausting task that wastes valuable time and energy.  We are committed to providing deep wells located in their villages that provide clean water.
